March Recap

I thought I'd summarize our busy March. We spent a couple of Saturdays at tumbling meets for the girls. Kiarra and Sophia did a great job and they are working hard getting ready for the state meet in May.

We also celebrated Sophie's 5th birthday. (Although she thinks she's at least 16!) This girl is so in charge that I pity her future Kindergarten teacher. She is the firecracker in our house and most days I'm pretty thankful for her lively spirit.

On the same day as Sophie's birthday party, both sets of grandparents came to Kiarra and Zac's Spring piano recital. It was a VERY short recital (five students each playing two songs), but Kiarra and Zac were so exited that our family made up half the audience. Even though they complain about practicing, they were happy to perform for everyone.

Through the fun stuff, there was the usual of scouts and school. Kiarra and Zac were also lifesavers for me as they helped me speed clean the house several times so we could show it off for potential home buyers. They must have done a good job because we are sold! Not easy to do in this market. We are staying on the market until the end of May, when the sell closes, so I continue to nag on keeping things picked up and closets neat. (sigh). Todd and I are still working through all the red tape to begin construction on our new home in Tremonton (Garland actually). We are waiting to hear from the State if we can have our own driveway or if we have to beg a neighbor to let us use their road. Maybe by next week we'll be breaking ground. Fingers are crossed!
