The Fair

When I was growing up, I always looked forward to the County Fair. I loved spending all day, every day (if Mom would let me) hanging out in the cattle barn with my dad, uncles and cousins. It was one of the best things about summer. After moving to Garland we learned that the Box Elder County Fair is a HUGE deal. It begins with a large evening parade where locals know to save their spot 2 days in advance. Then it was off to the carnival for Family Night. Rides are only a $1 that night, but we had to face long lines and a massive crowd. The kids had a great time and wanted to go every night. Saturday afternoon we checked out more of the exhibits with Todd's parents and went to the rodeo. (I forgot to take my camera on Saturday... completely bummed about that.) Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Miller for coming to visit. It was fun to see you again.
