Love Birds

I've been watching these geese out my back window all week. They crack me up. I'm not sure what their plan is, but they fly around the frozen pond, land on the ice and either walk around or just rest on the ice. Maybe they're just determined to make this their home, and they have a great deal of patience to wait for that ice to melt. I like to think that it's a male and a female (I have no idea) and they're working on making the perfect nest. Ah...a love story.

Speaking of love...I just want to wish my parents a "Happy Anniversary!". They are celebrating 57 years of wedded bliss. Oh alright, I'm sure not every year has been bliss, but they are an excellent example of what it takes to hang on through the tough years. Thanks Mom and Dad and I love you!

  1. Last year, I believe this pair was walking up by my house for a few days. They even had a duck friend. I think geese come back to their "homes".... but I really don't know. You are right, they are so fun to watch!
