History Fair

A couple of weeks ago, Kiarra and her friend, Krystal, competed in a history fair contest at USU. They chose the Alamo. Todd made the board and I spent one FULL Saturday helping them arrange the information on the board. We came up with the idea to burn the edges of the signs to give it an "old west" feel. A first they loved the unrestricted use of lighters (although supervised), but they had a nice headache from smoke fumes by the time we were done. They did well in the competition, but didn't make it to state. It was a learning experience for all of us.
