Wrapping up May

Yep...still trying to catch up...too many other things to do this summer besides sitting at the computer. May finished up with A LOT of soccer games and....

Sophia's final dance revue. She had a great time perfoming...I got plenty of exercise running down the hall to help with quick costume changes...and I very much appreciated Grandpa and Grandma Miller driving so far to watch Sophie and keep me company.

Kiarra had a great year in school and finished up 7th grade with an award at the Breakfast of Champions for being in the top 15% all year as well as Honors in citizenship all year. We grabbed a quick photo with the guest speakers, Brooke Walker of KSL-TV and the student body president of the high school, Jacob Rees. I think her proudest moment of the year was getting 100% on her math core test! It was pretty amazing and I know she got her math brains from her dad.

Then there was preschool graduation for both Max and myself. I had been working at the preschool all year and gosh dang it...I miss those cute kids. For the second year in a row, Max was 1 of 3 valedictorians. He was pretty happy to get his award.Max with his Miss Marci. She's a fabulous teacher and good friend. Thanks for great year!

Zac also had a wonderful last year in elementary. At the fifth grade graduation he received awards for the honor roll in Math, Science and Reading, the President's Award for Academic Excellence, and Citzenship. His friend Wyatt got the same awards, so we decided to take a picture in front of the sign at the school. It's the last elementary graduation in this building. The new school for Sophie and Max will be ready in August.

And finally our last big event in May was Kiarra's Orchestra concert. She enjoys playing the violin and looks forward to learning more. Afterwards, the kids wanted breakfast for dinner so we hit Denny's (not too many options here) for an end-of-year feast. We celebrated all the kids' accomplishments (and Todd and I celebrated the end of all the May events).
