Since we're asked frequently by friends and family about our construction project, we'll be posting pics of the new house pretty often...hope this doesn't bore too many "followers". This past week was very productive. The framing on the main floor is pretty much done and the basement framing will be done by Monday. We're looking forward to the third floor framing which should begin by Tuesday or Wednesday.
A shot from the front of the house. Not too impressive as the windows are covered and the equipment is in the way...but there it is.
The back of the house. It was a blast watching the two large walls of windows go up this week. Our framer noticed a problem with the size of the windows and we ending up enlarging them. Glad we did...it'll be some great sunset views. I'm sure Todd will be have me post more photos in the coming week, but for now that's about it.
I thought that said your "farmer" noticed a problem with the windows. I was wondering why the neighbor would care!? =)
