Holiday Fun - Part 2

For the second half of our Christmas fun, we went out to Altamont to spend time with Grandpa and Grandma Miller. We got there just a few hours before Brad & Emily and their girls went home. The kids loved the second round of gifts and Grandma had saved some for the other cousins...making it like Christmas morning all over again. We had a great time visiting, playing games, and sledding.

My kids spent way to much time on their DSi's this Christmas. But, with big kids like Uncle Brad supporting their habit... what do you expect?

Kiarra and Zac with their cousins, Maleke and Ethan. Mario Kart challenge was on!

Todd had the right idea. He escaped with Sunny for a nap. Since we don't have babies, I think he misses the excuse that he "needs" to go put the "baby" down for a nap.Baby it's cold outside!

And of course, the best thing after sledding, ... a cup of hot chocolate!

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Miller for a great visit! Also, thanks for mailing the DSi chargers that were left behind (you'd have thought we left behind a kidney or liver). Kiarra and Zac owe you $2.92!

Todd spent the rest of the holidays working on things at the new house and we were able to spend time with a few friends. We are putting in a lot of time at the house now, trying to speed things along. Todd is counting on moving in two weeks... and I'm having a hard time believing that it will happen that soon. But we spent hours glazing walls on Saturday and will be doing a lot more of it this week. My arms are getting the best workout. I'll be plenty busy glazing and/or packing so I'm not sure how much blogging will get done for awhile, but all of us here in the Miller household wish all of you a Happy New Year and hope that your 2010 is off to a great start!

  1. I wish I could come help you move in!

Sounds like Christmas time was fun. Next year we'll all be able to get together.
