If I hurry, I can recap the summer before school starts. I have 5 days...it could happen....maybe.
June was cold and wet. Most of the month felt like April, but we did manage to find some sunshine towards the end of the month.
Zac had a fun visit from one of his best friends, Spencer. Spencer lived next to us in Spanish Fork. For a few weeks, Spencer's dad stayed with us while he did some work in Logan, so one week Spencer came up with his Dad and got to hang out with Zac. We didn't do much because of baseball schedules, but one day I took the kids out to Promontory to the Golden Spike Museum. Spencer had never been so we decided to brave the wind and see where East met West.
Like I said, there was a lot of baseball. Kiarra played softball...somehow I forgot my camera EVERY game. Can't believe it. Sophia played Coach Pitch and was bored.
Sophie also had a blast at a one day cheerleading clinic.
Zac and his friend Wyatt attended a 4-H Robotics camp. For four days they built and programmed robots using Lego Mindstorms. It was pretty much heaven for these two boys. Zac has been begging for his own Mindstorm set ever since. Yikes!
Then there was the summer tradition of swimming lessons. The kids are all fearless in the water.
Zac even decided to work on his level 6 and get more practice at distance lap swimming.
And of course, those rainy days make for silly kids...including a little ninja action with fabric scraps! Jackie Chan ain't got nothin' on these two!

Silly ninja kids. You are soooo busy! But it looks like it all was fun!
