Miller Animal Shelter?

Over Labor Day weekend, our household grew by one more. No...no new babies here. Instead we have added yet another animal to the "farm". Meet "Major", a pure bred German Shepherd. Major came to us from our friends that were looking for a new home for this dog. I never thought we'd own a dog, let alone a big dog. However, he's been to obedience school and is very managable. He's really patient with the kids and so far Zac has rushed home every day to play with him. He is STRICTLY an outdoor dog and right now we have to be pretty careful that he doesn't turn one of the cats into a chew toy. He actually proved himself to be a pretty good cattle dog and chased some of the calves into a new pasture. So far we're all getting along great...(4 kids, 7 calves, 1 dog, 2 cats, 1 turtle and countless fish. GEEZ!)

Hands down the best real Christmas Story I've read this season. Tears, laughs and pee... couldn't be better. Confirmed my feelings that we're NEVER getting a dog. Hope the rest of your holidays are drama free."

Ah- hem...all good dog free homes do come to an end don't they?:)
Major is a good dog and just to help you out in this transition...Pixie is doing GREAT and we (even me) seriously do love her. :)

Hope you enjoy Major as much as we do Pixie!!
