Sophia and her partner, Kache, are pretty cute together and have learned a lot this first year. Their team received a first place prize and a large trophy for an overall award. After she was done clogging, we rode as many rides as we could that afternoon. I took Sophie and Max and did all the kiddie rides. Todd took the older kids and waited in HUGE lines for the big kid rides. (They waited two hours for the log ride.) Hence, I mostly have photos of the little kids. Being the first sunny day of spring, opening day for the park, and dance competitons...it was so crazy packed. We didn't get a lot of rides in because all the lines took too long. Todd and I were done by 7:00. We've never been too fond of Lagoon...now we remember why. WAY over-priced! Oh well, the kids had fun and they're already begging to go again. Maybe in another 10 years.
Sophia and Kache
We met up with Ty, Max's friend from preschool, to do some rides together. Ty's on Sophie's clogging team.

This was probably a preview of how Sophie's gonna look at 16. YIKES!

Sophie and Max insisted on playing in the slash fountain. I warned them that the sun had disappeared behind the clouds for the day and that they would freeze after. But nope, they continued to argue. "Fine", I said, "Go ahead...you'll be sorry!"
Yep...they were sorry. Here they are trying to warm up on the wall that was still warm from the sun. Will they listen to me next time? Probably not.

Like I said, long day. Max fell asleep in the few minutes that it took to look at the dance competition results. Todd and I wished we could join him.
Looks like fun!
