July, of course, started out with our annual 4th of July BBQ. Todd got to fire up his new grill and enjoyed the weekend with some fun friends.

Finally got the outdoor curtains up for some much needed shade. My multi-talented husband helped to sew on all the ties.
Out of all the yummy things spread out, Max keeps it all simple...burger and cheetos.
Waiting for it to get dark so the "real" fireworks can start.
Saturday morning we were off to the parade.

And last...Zac used his down time in July to dig up all his instruction books and build every Lego set he owns. His room was pretty sacred territory during this construction phase.

A few weeks later we went to Altamont for Longhorn Days over the 24th weekend. The entire family was there for the weekend.
Friday night we went up to the mountains for dutchoven, relay games and yummy smores.
