We alternate our Thanksgivings between Todd's parents' and my parents' houses. This year it was Grandma and Grandpa Campbell's (a.ka. my parents) turn. For the first time, we convinced my mom to give up control and let all us kids do all cooking. It was a hard thing for her to do and we all felt A LOT of pressure to live up to her standards. I was assigned turkey and stuffing. No pressure...ha! It was easier than trying to reproduce Mom's pies or rolls. NO WAY was I going to attempt that with witnesses. I think the turkey turned out fine...the dressing (yes, from scratch, not a box) still needs some tweeking...I'll get it right next time. Thanks Mom and Dad for letting us run amuck around the house. It was fun getting a chance to hang out with all the family.
The Adult's Table (two small toddlers included)... the first year we were in a separate room...nice and quiet.
